Safe Within Your Grace

Lord, I’m at a crossroads, and I’m praying for a sign—
Which way along this journey is the one that You’ve designed?

Should I go left, or should I go right?
Or continue straight ahead?

I trust that you will light the way,
and safely I’ll be led.

God, meet me in the moments when the choices feel unclear.
And silence every thought that is rooted in my fear.

Please free me of the worry and all that holds me back.
Provide the strength I’m missing and the courage that I lack.

When It’s hard to see the ending or the turn the road may take—
Remind me you are with me in every choice I make.

Teach me not to dwell on those things I can’t control—
The maybes and the what-ifs that rest heavy on my soul.

I know that I can trust you when my thoughts begin to race—
You hold me with your righteous hand—I’m safe within your grace.

I’ll walk by faith and not by sight to find the path I seek;
I’ll take a breath and listen as I wait for you to speak.

I’ll be still and know you’re God, as all my worries fade—
I’m walking in your holy light—there’s no need to be afraid.

I trust the goodness of your will in all the things I do.
And I’ll set my heart upon the hope I can only find in you.
